Art Prescription: If you tried to match all the hues of green right-now, you would be at your easel for a while. So many brilliant shades. And nature shows off with dogwoods and red-buds just bursting at the seam.

Art Prescription: We went on an art field trip today to the Umstead Hotel where we took in furniture made especially for the hotel and an array of art.
The flower arrangements divine, and the cheese plate and ginger vinegar spritzer felt decadent for a Monday.

Art Prescription: Isn’t it lovely to have a slow morning? No rushing or appointments, running out the door with yogurt in hand. Time to sit with a cat or two in my lap, and watch the birds.
Little bit nippy, but I did head out to my studio to paint…
