Paper towel blooms
Flower on my journal page
Like cut-out cookies.
Art Prescription: I had two lovely ladies come today for an art journaling session. I always learn from my participants. While painting with watercolor I always have a blotter paper towel, and they had used their blotter towels in previous journal entries. I spread my towel out and these flowers bloomed from the random paint blots. How fun!!
Lost in wintry mix
Warm blankets, a pile of cats
Icicles lengthen.
8 x 8 watercolor
My one Valentine
Who’s heart beats in time with mine
It’s always been you.
Welcome home dear friends
Matilda is waiting for
You to come through door.
Naked tree branches
Click and clack, sway with a chill
Winter’s icy wind.
