A choir of bluets
Raise their heads to sing for sun
Leafy green new trees.

A choir of bluets
Raise their heads to sing for sun
Leafy green new trees.

Spring explodes with cheer
Leaves and flowers burst open
Life energy stirs.

His song, such focus
He is courting a new mate
Wooing her to nest.

Seed pod in the snow
A sign of the next season
On a cold grey day.
Went out to walk in the snow and found this very sweet cone flower seed pod. I love the many meanings one can find in this scene!

Hi fans, this winter weather does not agree with me.

Momma puts my sweater on and I think I can’t move.

We did find a spot for me to ahemmm do my business.

So long from freezing Chapel Hill.
Of course once I’m home I get tons of blankets and snuggles.
Sharp sleet hits my face
I’m warm underneath layers
Walk in an ice storm.

Faith in a small thing
Like a feral cat who loves
And snuggles in bed.
For those of you who followed my feral cat saga. We now have a sweet black cat who likes being a part-time indoor puddy.
Grief wraps around chest
Constricting breath, causing pain
Where do I put this?
