Power of knowing
Know your body, mind, spirit
Your evolution.
Art Prescription: working on another momma Bear.
Journey with Bear asks for quiet and truth.

Art Prescription: working on another momma Bear.
Journey with Bear asks for quiet and truth.
Work in progress;

Final leaves let go
Bare winter branches, grey sky
The year, rolling on.
Art Prescription: I do love the winter landscape. So peaceful.
I’m sure you feel like I do though, that time is rolling on ahead of us!
Taking time to make art is so good for you! It lowers your Blood pressure and heart rate, and releases good brain chemicals!
Make time in the new year for art.
Mini-art journals:

A blank calendar
A few days with open space
Time to rest, reflect.
Art Prescription: After a busy fall with shows and workshops, finally my calendar looks open. Breathe…
Here’s the progress on my Bear:

Silver sparkly frost
Winter is on the edge now
Hibernation time.
Art Prescription: started this watercolor sketch. I’ll add details tomorrow once dry.

A place I belong
Where my heart does a slow dance
With nature’s music.

News that rocks your world
When you are half way cross states
How is this to be?????
Art Prescription: anticipatory grieving this news and it’s still a tale spine.

New horse came to farm
Frolicking and fun bucking
They meet their new friend.
Art Prescription: It’s always fascinating to watch a new horse come to farm. The herd behavior resorts back to how they manage in the wild.

I made one more art journal for my Open Studio this weekend!

Birds flock at feeder
Announcing cold winter wind
Trees strip down to bare.
Art Prescription: Hello Hawk Medicine.

Low gray clouds hover
Hawks sit on branches hunting
Steadily rain falls.
Art Prescription: And still the Horses must be fed and hayed. They are so appreciative.
I started this with pen and ink and watercolor.

Horses holiday
Ride, gift, treat, and hot cider
Raising camp money
Art Prescription: Today was Holiday with the Horses, our annual fundraiser for kids who can’t afford camp.
The horses were so patient having bows and bells put in their manes and tails.
