Art Prescription: Seems a lot of people have trouble mid-season. It’s not the start or the end of anything, it’s just in the middle, and for those of us in the south, hot! What if each day was the start of something! Your life! What are you waiting for?

Successful season.
Art Prescription: Parents and their offspring are frequenting my feeder. Fledglings sit twittering, waiting for the parent to feed them. Parents shuffle in the seed, trying to teach their young to eat on their own. Successful parenting is huge.

August turns to September
Who is keeping count?
Art Prescription: So I worked on a cow and calf painting for hours today…and it was just not happening! The muse out to lunch? So with abandon I painted a sunflower, and the colorful chaos suits my mood.

Art Prescription: And so the tall leafy corn once again returns to the soil, the precious seed harvested.
