And her four kittens.

Art Prescription: Life takes over now and then, like capturing feral kittens.

Caught little grey, he joined his sister and they comforted each other.

Hello friends!

I caught kitten two this morning, and she, yes first girl, had a wound. I took her to the vet and now she is back trying to acclimate to humans.

Feral this morning, boy she put up a fight!

I hope I’m doing right by this little feral family.

Are you fast, rabbit

Or are you slow, like turtle

Both are amazing.

Finding meaning in each day

It is all we have.

Art Prescription: each day we get to choose how we live. Wake up to joy and a grateful heart, or wake up to worry.

Here is my work in progress with Brushes with Cancer. We have a ways to go…

Think I’ll sit awhile

And wonder what life’s about

Blessing each moment.

Art Prescription: Hi folks, so I’m working with this program called Brushes with Cancer, and I’ve been paired up with a cancer patient.

I’m humbled and honored to have an opportunity to paint something special for her.

Sketching ideas:

Life, many stories

Of love, loss, defeat, conquer

And we are so strong.

Art Prescription: The human will amazes me so….

When the heart opens

It allows us to connect

And blossoms happen.

Our opening question was, “if I were growing in a summer garden, I would be…”

What a full garden! Filled with:

A bench in the shade.

A butterfly bush.

A lilac bush.

A tomato.

A songbird.

A fern in the shade.

Anything colorful.

A hydrangea.

A sunflower.

An Astromeria.

A purple petunia.

A thistle or Queen Anne’s Lace.

A yellow Coriopsis.
