Art Prescription: We have all experienced labels. She’s this, he’s that. Then we try harder to be something! Something better? Peer pressure is so hard. What if we all could shine from the inside out? Then that stutter or weak leg wouldn’t matter, because all others could see was your glow.

Into new chapter.

Art Prescription: Life is full of milestones, events, turning points, and revelations. How the next chapter goes can be honored with healthy boundaries. Love and respect do have boundaries. A good thought going into the holidays.

Art Prescription: As America remembers 9/11, I’m immensely grateful for my life and the simple goodness of the day. Rest in peace lost souls. Each of us remember where we were when this changed the course of history.

And in that moment
In the eyes of this being
She knew she was home.

Art Prescription: A house makes a place to live. The life in and around your house make it home.

Art Prescription: We ended our tour of the south shore of Nova Scotia in a cove with blue rocks. Picturesque is an understatement. Ice-cream in a renovated fish-shack filled with art! Yes I am coming home with a sweet watercolor framed in wood and lichen from the wharf.
