Cold first day of spring

The couriers of promise

Reassure us now.

Art Prescription:  Even on a cold spring day, the road-side trees bloom, and color our path.

Art Prescription:  Well we do need a few trend setters. Soft, gentle, dapper beings who will lead us wisely into spring, and set the tone of peace and collaboration for the good of all.

Unruly locks, grin.

Art Prescription:  I’m dog sitting for my neighbor and these pups are cute as can be.

Art Prescription:  All things planned and planted with love find a way to send laughter into the trees.

Art Prescription:  For those of you who have followed my blog, you will remember Lil’ Bull. Well these two new cows are an addition to the farm.

Barred owls begin their calls.

Art Prescription:  At dusk the bog begins to wake up. Time to start looking down a bit, instead of just up at the trees. First snake. A small adorable fella.

Wildflower prelude.

Art Prescription:  We went to Sandy Creek Park to bird watch. The explosion of Trout Lily wildflowers along the bank of the water was breath-taking. This is one of the first ephemeral wildflowers to announce spring’s arrival.
