A new journal to start the new year!

Viviva sent me some new watercolors to try!

Here is a sketchy sheet using them.

Vibrant and creamy!

Purple asters bloom

And the trees turn with green gold

And I think of you.

Watercolor with liquid acrylic accents.

Reaching into fall

Blooms glow before a cold frost

Holding their color.

Leaves fall around me

I look up for connection

To sky and big love.

Two trusting eyes take me in

Deliver to joy.

And some days you hiss

Curl your back up and let go

Of all the anger!!

Yellow glow roadside

Big open fields of asters

Last butterflies feed.

Balmy September

Softly trees let go of leaves

Final round of blooms.

Sketching blooms from my yard with graphite and watercolor.

Start with crayon scribble!

Add some watercolor!

Define a few petals with acrylic.

Cut into mini art pieces for further exploration.
