Stolen time rushes
Past the day or the season
You grasp the moment.

Stolen time rushes
Past the day or the season
You grasp the moment.

Fall wildflowers sway
And I’m caught with cricket song
A grasshopper jumps.

I went to sketch at the Dorothea Dix Sunflower Garden.
Here is my final piece:

Across field of gold
You came to me with your heart
And I met you there.

Heat rises from ground
Humid waves of plus ninety
Breeze warms drips of sweat.

Sam and I took a walk. So hot!
We both wrote haikus.
Sam
Streets covered in ice
Yearning for the summer sun
That we have today
Bev
Cicadas, crickets
Buzz from trees, dry tall grassland
Hazy heat August.

Oh so fun with bright summer colors!

Slow stitching kit listed in my Etsy shop!

Bev
Trying colors and composition.

Hi Art Prescription fans!
It’s been a while since I posted and many of you are following me on Instagram @artprescription.
I’ve been busy doing art and stitching and because my interests are so diverse I’m trying to define what kind of artist I am these days.
I guess mixed-media works, although you know I love my watercolor.
Stay tuned as I evolve…
Cheers,
Bev
