Peace

I feel I don’t need to add to this Turkish proverb.
Paper, wall-paper, stamps, fabric, washi tape, stitched:

Roses, shades of pink
Fleshy, velvety petals
Just now, freshly cut.
Art Prescription: Heading towards summer and joyful flower cutting from my garden.
A loosely painted watercolor…shades of pink:

Hi y’all,
Spent my afternoon painting in my studio with the doors and windows open. A bit warm, but like feeling I’m part of the backyard.
I’m working on a custom order. A set of my brush paintings.
So fun to work on a series:

Farrier day at the barn. And we did worming.
Finn is such a good boy! Mustache mouth…

Flowers gone to seed
Clusters of green blackberries
Soon black and juicy.
Art Prescription: This quick and whimsical painting was all done with a cotton swab on a blue index card.

Roof without cover
Garden with freshly tilled soil
Plans for the future.
Art Prescription: All projects start with plans. As you build, you reassess each angle. Measure twice, cut once.
I’ve just listed my next Stitch Kit!
Introducing: Wren

Carolina Wrens
And House Wrens sound out vocals
Big songs, little birds.
Art Prescription: Wrens are one of my favorites. I love their ducking gestures.
This is going to be my fourth Stitch Kit! Super excited to launch:

“If you’re an oak
You don’t pretend
You are a flower.“
Basho
Machine stitched art journal page:

Guess everyone is in need of getting outside.
Our usual quiet trail that leads to the back waters of Jorden Lake was packed with bikers, joggers, and walkers.
Sam got a few nice photos of Red-headed Woodpeckers.
Not sure what these will be…Maybe secret art drops…
