Hi you guys,
How are you managing this new world?
I hope you are finding some peace and well-being in your days.
I really enjoyed my color mixing yesterday and made a new hand-bound journal from my paintings.

Hi you guys,
How are you managing this new world?
I hope you are finding some peace and well-being in your days.
I really enjoyed my color mixing yesterday and made a new hand-bound journal from my paintings.

Tree canopy bursts
A kaleidoscope of greens
The glory of spring.
Art Prescription: During my walk this morning I decided I would do a study of greens.
I laid out 3 yellows and 3 blues.
What fun!!

The images on the right will be new hand-bound art journals!
Cheers,
Bev
Something I want to do. Don’t know if I have the patience.

Dog barks, passing car
Cardinals chirp from tree tops
And now just footsteps.
Art Journal: On this page I used one of my First Day of Issue print offs in my collage.
I’ve listed several in my Etsy shop as downloads.

Find your place in sun
Bright rays warm and inviting
Solace in nature.
Art Prescription: Field sketching:

We carry in us
All we could possibly need
And more, we are brave.
Art Prescription: art journaling brings me peace.
With my extra time I have discovered a use for my US stamp first issue collection!!
I made a listing on Etsy for the first digital download.
Here is how I used my print:

Thread around a twig
Each second a new heart beat
Of a healing love.
Art Prescription: mixed media:

And still there is time
To take in nature’s beaury
To fill your spirit.
Art Prescription: I hope you all are safe and well. I’m so grateful to have lots of beautiful spots in walking distance.

My mission since starting this blog has always been to deliver a dose of art and haiku.
I feel art and creativity will get lots of families through these trying times.
Today I made three new mini-art journals and listed them in my Etsy shop.
I hope they might be a place to record thoughts and feelings about our times.

Dogwood State Flower
Sparkles with white blooms in woods
Nature moves onward.
Art Prescription: so no matter how scary the news gets… a walk in the woods reassures you that life is moving forward.
I’m not downplaying our current threats.
I am seeking peace in the natural world.
Be well!
