Chance for new lessons.

Branches hold spring buds

Wildflowers bloom underfoot

And still some hang on.

Sometimes you sit, wait

Then you walk and do prayer

And then you wait more.

Art Prescription: We walked to the NC Botanical Garden to see if the spring ephemerals are up.

They are and I sketched with pen and ink:

The sand. Small figure on the

Horizon. Away.

Footsteps quickly fade

As snow covers daffodils

White fluff on branches

I added some pen and ink…

Middle of the night

Voices float by through windows

Riding on the stars.
