Last of the Gerbers

Time and the seasons march on

Expecting a freeze.

Art Prescription:  Some of my loyal readers have asked me to talk more about my process. So, this journal page is made up from several small works, see previous posts. I used washi tape to glue in my tiny watercolor and then free-handed the Gerber. It’s a sketchbook feel and a reflection of my day. 

A cold steady mist

Big grey sky settles over

Open curtain, fall.

Art Prescription:  Grey days actually make the fall colors pop.

All renewal occurs now

I radiate strength.

My Open Studio day

Art Prescription: As the moon rises, I wrap up another Open Studio. I’m super grateful to all who came out! I enjoy sharing my work, and most of all I enjoy planting the seed of creativity.

What to show to the public?

Feel vulnerable.

Art Prescription:  Sharing our art is not always easy. We wonder, will they like it, will they buy it? It is putting your soul out a bit for judgement.
