Outside the window
The morning air is awash
With loving spirits.
Art Prescription: Faeries, Angels, Spirits, Animal Medicine…just to name a few.
So I’m late posting because my painting wasn’t dry in time. Plus I did not like it!! So this morning I whittled away at it, cutting it down to something I like well enough.

And always have poise
Calmness, serenity, grace
Choose to rise above.

What makes you happy?
Can you clear your mind for this?
What can you let go?

Index card with watercolor and my chop that says, “hope.”

Early and roads are quiet
Just me and the crows.

Art journal sketch with pen:

Spring Red-Buds border
The highway like landing lights
Place to land winter.
Art Prescription: So pretty.
Index card with watercolor:

A blue bird of hope
Lives within the open heart
Ready to take flight.
Art Prescription: My chop says, “hope,” or “rare expectation” in Chinese.

Typography page
A place for a few true thoughts
Expressive outlet.
Art Prescription: I try and keep the Art Prescription positive, but I’ve had a few disappointing happenings, so true to my Rx I’ve expressed them here in my journal.
Journal page: mixed media:

A study in red
One block at the time, peaceful
Just let go of it.
Art Prescription:

Foundation for life
We each lay down a background
And layer from there.
Art Prescription: Life is a story. Our backgrounds are important, but more important is how we layer our days, and months, and years. Author of our story…make it a good chapter!
