A lone ornament
Anonymously adorns
Path into the woods.
Bee-Line December 21, 2015
A straight direct course
Would be so much easier
Than all these circles.
Art Prescription: And round and round we must go…picking up juicy tidbits on our journey. A course, straight to the honey, would lack in adventure. It would pale to the wandering and coming up lost now and again. It would probably be uneventful, without any family rows, work blow-ups, marriage quarrels… things would just naturally fall into place! How boring!!
As the year comes to an end, let’s give thanks to our circles. May our many curves be blessed and honored, and fasten your seat belt for the new year!

Street Lamp December 17, 2015
Winter trees shimmer
Under light cast by street lamps
Asymmetrical.
Art Prescription: Evening walks this time of year quickly turn into night-time. I enjoy the sculpture quality of bare winter branches in the light of the street lamps.

Shorts and tees in December
Santa needs sunscreen!!
Art Prescription: I’m not complaining as Finn and I had a lovely sunny walk (sort-of he is very interested in eating grass). However, “dashing through the snow” is highly unlikely this Christmas season.
