Saying No

And right then she knew

That saying No was the best

For self-protection.

Art Prescription: Are you a “yes” Person? Always taking on more? running yourself tired for others?

It’s really nice to help others. It feels good to give.

And…………. know when to say No.

You rise to meet it.

New Remembering Tree

I’m always humbled to paint a tree for UNC Hospitals.

This tree will be used during a service to help staff and family honor their loss.

I’ll cut pretty rice paper leaves for people to write a message, and then be collaged onto tree.

Acrylic 18 x 24:

Planted with Love

He drove two hours

To get a weeping cherry

Planted it with love.

Art Prescription:

My one and only brother searched our local area for a weeping cherry tree.

I’ve wanted one since our dad died when I was 8 and he was 6.

When I went out to leave home there he was digging a hole and planting a new tree.
