America together

We love thy neighbor.

Art Prescription:  Instead of the differences that have been in the news in the last months, lately I’ve seen Americans coming together to help one-another. People from all backgrounds pulling together, working as teams, spreading love.

This is the country I’m proud of.

Here in North Carolina we are in danger of being in the path of Irma. Be well my neighbor.

The world is muffled

All stands still and regal white

Carolina snow.

Art Prescription: Big wet snowflakes fell through the night. Really nothing compares…

Two worlds, artist, nurse

Some days my hat does not fit

Either, want to rest!

Art Prescription:  I’ve been weaving my two worlds of nursing and art together for about 10 years…maybe 11…or all my life…which came first? I love both in many ways. Often it’s the transition that is hardest. What hats do you wear? Which hat fits you best? Fits your spirit?

Canary yellow

High-pitched, sweet-song, melody

Likes thistle, Goldfinch!

Art Prescription:  Taught Art Journaling workshop for parent/child today. The raw honesty of children brings a smile to my face. Fascinating, really, the power of art!  Another Vision Board for me! Seems birds are showing up a lot these days…

Creatures of the creek

A buzz with activity

Water rolls, rushes.
