Art Prescription: We hiked both weekend days at Mason Farm, a local wildlife preserve close to home. It’s a spirit-filled place for both of us. A place to be still and quiet and listen to the wind.
Grasshoppers set sail

Art Prescription: Lots of flying grasshoppers today and dragonflies. Interesting behavior, dragonflies dipping their tails into puddles of water. They are laying eggs. Dragonflies dip and swoop, territorial action…flying bugs!
Black and white and gray

Art Prescription: Slept with my black ink pen last night…talk about the pea and the princess. The hazard of bedtime journaling. Well, just suffice it to say that I totally went to the drug store to buy “White Rain” hairspray. Let’s hope that works to get the ink out of the sheets. In the meantime thought some black and white art just seemed right!

It’s one to one now.
Art Prescription: Had my first Intuitive Horseback Riding lesson today, bare-back!! Did yoga on a horse to start, and then practiced closing my eyes and feeling how the horse was stepping next.

Art Prescription: If you follow my blog, you know I’m having trouble letting summer go…the sun, the blooms, the abundance of flowers! I will adjust. I also love fall and the rainbow of color that explodes on trees! Does the season change invoke the explorer in you?

Sit with the breeze, and just know
It’s all good right now!
Art Prescription: Life is a series of light and dark, but even in the dark find peace and know that you are still moving forward. Sometimes a sit in the shade does a soul good!!
