Art Prescription: So every painting does not work out!! Sometimes you begin and get to a point where you realize, “this is just not working.” Then you go for a walk and come back. Choose to abandoned your painting and go all out with color, knowing tomorrow there will be a fresh new clean sheet of white paper.

Art Prescription: Sometimes the good stuff has to wait. Has to wait to pay the mortgage, has to wait to pay college tuition, has to wait to pay the grocery bill…has to wait. I have a lovely Evening Grosbeak waiting for me to paint her. I will get there…for now a purple sketch.
