Down the hill they go

Art Prescription: Two teen boys in my neighborhood have been practicing for a couple of days now going down and around on a hilly path. Muddy from crashing, they giggle and try again. Just two boys and their wheels…no thought of the past or the future…just the now.

Cockle-berry takes hitch-hike
Horses in the woods.
Art Prescription: Both of us in need of clearing our minds, my friend and I. I went and led Finn out of the woods, rode a bit. Then we both took in the calm that is the farm, to clear our heads and sketch!
Quick little hummer
Zooms up into trees, brief rest
Then back for more sweets.
Art Prescription: On my walk watching hummingbirds dive lantana. As I approached they flew up into the trees. This is another miniature art pieces. Watercolor artist trading card.

Time to set a while, talk slow
Linger in the shade.
Art Prescription: Iconic scene. A century old farm house. An outside setting with a swing for getting together in the yard.

She unfolds her brand new wings
And takes her first flight.
Art Prescription: Something to aim for…
The word passion means
“To be affected.” Basic
Energy of soul.
Art Prescription: Do you pay attention to your passions? Those things that “affect” you. What gives you energy? What takes it away? Are you being true to yourself?
Resolution time
The rain stops, blue skies appear
And just like that, change!
Art Prescription: It’s the time of year when people start taking stock of their lives, and begin to think about new beginnings…change. Why not just live the life you want 365 days? You are beautiful just the way you are! Now live that!!!
