Art Prescription: Two teen boys in my neighborhood have been practicing for a couple of days now going down and around on a hilly path. Muddy from crashing, they giggle and try again. Just two boys and their wheels…no thought of the past or the future…just the now.

Art Prescription: I love walking out into a herd of horses. I watch them notice me with curiosity. Their ears perk as their awareness shifts. Herd behavior has deep roots for these prey animals. To have them accept me and allow me to enter their space is an honor.

Art Prescription: Took a winding road in the Great Smokey Mountain Park. Hiked about 5 steep miles. Landed on Andrew’s Bald, a grassy meadow with a panoramic view of the Great Smokey Mountains. Did a pen and ink sketch.
