I’ve had my years of Bon Appetite magazines in the garage to go through and get my favorite recipes. I know it’s irrational as everything is online, but somehow those actual magazines represent a part of my life. I’m trying to practice letting-go…

Art Prescription: This morning outdoors was a sauna. I was taking photos of new art, and the heat felt like a wet blanket. After a good rain, the air felt much cooler…went for a nice walk.
Quiet except crunch
Of early fallen brown leaves
Flowers start to wane.
Art Prescription: I’m noticing now on my walks there are scattered fallen leaves on the path…fall starts her subtle nuance.

Art Prescription: What started out as a tree painting on a big canvas – 5 ft tall – became an expression of loose brush-strokes and spattering…so therapeutic!! I will return to this tomorrow to paint a “proper” tree, but for now, ahhhhhh…cheaper than counseling and oh!! the color!!
