The river ripples, churns, flows
As creek spills over.
Art Prescription: Are you open to the flow of life? I’m learning too!!
Aware of subtle
Shift in light, songs of crickets
All is well, all is…
Art Prescription: I love the subtle nuances of each day as the season begins to shift. In an effort to spread good vibes, I’m giving away a couple of index card pieces a week. They can be used to stick in your mates lunch, pin to your desk space, or send to a friend. They are so fun and I hope to share this pick-me-up art! Art done on an index card
Meant to share with love.
Art Prescription: Among the field of miniature art, there are Artist Trading Cards and Index Card Art. I’ve done a few Index Card pieces with the idea to share with others. Slip a little art into your partner’s lunch, or your kid’s…surprise a co-worker with some art for her desk, stick a little inspiration in the card to your mom…Everyone needs a little inspiration!
A desk pick-me-up
Miniature office art
Little reminder.
Art Prescription: I don’t have a “desk” at work, as I move from room to room. I do notice that there are regularly posted comics or inspirational quotes around those who do have a designated space. So I did a little index card art in honor of “desk art.” We all work hard…doesn’t hurt to have joyful reminders in our spaces!! Breathe!
Studio feline
Marks me as his while I paint
Stretches on wool rug.
Art Prescription: My black house cat Matisse meows from sun-up to sun-down. High maintenance, but I love him dearly. This afternoon I took him with me out to my studio. He didn’t say a word!! Meandered around, slinking by my ankles and stretching out on my rug. I think he knew he was in sacred space. (and had me all to himself, spoiled) A follower of mine introduced me to index card art… thanks http://girlunwinding.wordpress.com/
