Cat acupuncture!
Art Prescription: I’m not much of a napper, can never fall asleep during the day. I do relish laying down though and resting my body. With three cats, someone is always going to join me. Mocha, my tabby, will make biscuits for 30 minutes straight. Got a session of cat acupuncture and then up I went to the studio to play. 8 1/2 x 11 mixed media

Art Prescription: Today was a day for cuddling. I’m blessed to have many hand-made quilts. Both sets of grandparents were quilters, so after a busy week the Dyer family all piled into bed under one and took a nap…bliss! Watercolor sketch on a 3 x 5 index card.

Art Prescription: Human nature, grey-rainy days equals hibernation. The pull of warm covers and a hubby taking a nap….noooooooooo! So I went to swim!! Came home energized! Another “Stripe” painting. Turned it sideways for a little sunrise surprise!

Art Prescription: On a grey, cold, rainy day it’s simple human nature to nap! If you have pets, then you know as soon as you hit supine you will have company. I sometimes have wonderful ideas while my body rests, and my mind wanders!
I feel your warm breath
Purr vibrates until you fall
Asleep by my side.
Art Prescription: Few things are sweeter to me than having a warm, purring cat by my side! I love to sketch the lines of my cats.
