Life, bits and pieces
Some fit together, others
Ask that you make change.
Art Prescription: Life is full of messages. If we pay attention our paths are a way out.
It gets confusing when the heart is involved.
New Journals coming together. Great place to vent!!
Secret Santa left
Finn a treat tied to saddle
And he dug to see!!!
Warm, bright, space where I create
Welcome friends, neighbors!
Art Prescription: Today was a cold, wet, rainy day! And my friends and neighbors still came out to celebrate my open studio with me. Thanks y’all!! For those of you who live a little far off…
Farm entrance, dogwood
Cockle-berry takes hitch-hike
Horses in the woods.
Art Prescription: Both of us in need of clearing our minds, my friend and I. I went and led Finn out of the woods, rode a bit. Then we both took in the calm that is the farm, to clear our heads and sketch!
Many colored scarves
Tied, draped, cotton, silk, crochet
Warm showy fashion!
Art Prescription: The colors and textures of scarves are exquisite! I don’t knit or crochet, but am enamored with the plethora of yarns and fabric!
Wood fires scent the air.
Scarf, hat, and gloves become needs
Winter warm fashion!!
Compassion: to walk
A brief time in other’s shoes
Give of time and heart.
Art Prescription: The holiday season brings out extremes in feelings. At any given point in life you or I may respond differently to a world where “everyone else seems normal.” No matter what holiday you celebrate, there is bound to be some roller-coaster of emotions. The perfect gift, time and heart!
Winter shadows dance
Cool silhouettes under sky
Art Prescription: Warm color, cool color…Winter shadows are definitely cool. Switch it up on life’s canvas for a winter mood!
Outside trees aglow
Burnt orange, red, and yellow
Art Prescription: North Carolina fall…out in short-sleeves today. Trees are peaking in color. They seem to glow!
A vision in teal
Lacey petals, butterscotch
Art Prescription: Color is vibration! What adjectives do you think of when you see shades that get your attention? How does your painting feel?
