Art Prescription: Long Saturday! Sam worked in the yard and I cleaned my studio for an open studio Monday. Working around home is both tiring and relaxing. Good thing I married someone who likes home as much as I do!!

Art Prescription: Spring can be a bit ambivalent. One day it’s 80, the next it’s 50 with a chance of frost. Covered my newly planted annuals…knew I was planting them early, but irresistible.
A lonely swing creaks
As breeze blows it back and forth
Playground is empty.
Art Prescription: Think of the difference in mood a busy playground with squealing children can set versus a quiet and empty Saturday at the school yard. Through art and writing we can express and share mood with color, line, and words. How has your Monday been?

Art Prescription: Loss knows no boundaries. In every culture around the world there are terms for saying good-by to friends and family. My good-good neighbors are moving…I will miss them! Writing my haiku’s are helping me express my feelings.
