Case of mulleygrubs
Cure is a cake or red dress
Or watercolor.
Art Prescription: I first heard of “mulleygrubs” from Ginger Andrews’ poem “The Cure.”
“The cure for the mulleygrubs,
she tells my sister,
is to get up and bake a cake.
If that doesn’t do it, put on a red dress.”
It seems listening to the news is causing me a sure case of mulleygrubs, so I paint and paint and paint!! And maybe pray…
Cold rainy Sunday
Christmas tree lights on all day
Warm and cozy couch.
Art Prescription: After a busy Saturday, it was nice to rest on the couch a bit. Of course I had furry company.

The muse, her senses keen, waits
Open door, “Come in.”
Art Prescription: So my good friend Farley said to me today, “pause, ponder, produce.” I just adore that. I invite you to do the same!! And let your muse in to “pause, ponder, produce.” Aho!
