Mason Farm Creek

One of my favorite places in the world, Mason Farm.  A meandering biological preserve hidden away not far from home. We can walk all the way there through the woods.  Mason Farm is a 2 mile loop around several ecosystems…hardwoods, meadows, wet-lands, and pines. Through the years the sites there have been phenomenal, ranging from a white deer to hawks, yellow-belly slider turtles, tons of birds and butterflies, and wildflowers galore. The trail to Mason Farm passes over a creek damn that is safe to drive across. Water gurgles under and over the forge.

So, you can imagine my surprise when crossing the creek we saw what we guessed to be a wedding dress and bridesmaid dress hanging with clothespins on a line across the water.  What a hauntingly beautiful site. The dresses reflected the light of the sun and the sparkle of the water, swaying in the breeze, light and airy.

Left me wondering… Art Prescription: Wonder….wonder…wonder….
