In anticipation of Hurricane Irene many North Carolinian’s from the coast to farther inland spent the last couple of days worrying about how this storm might impact us. As I write I see the trees swaying with the wind, an occasional gust. My thoughts go out to the many families who live farther east.
Most of us are keeping an eye on Irene’s path.
Art Prescription: Doodle away worry. Take a piece of watercolor paper and brush colors across the page.
Then just start doodling. I found a bird’s feather that was the start of my doodle-collage. Then I simply added the next thought and my doodle began taking on a theme.
