My craft book pitch is right around the corner! It’s been a busy, busy couple of weeks and the left part of my brain says rest and get ready for your trip. The right part of my brain says, “PAINT.” So I’m practicing what I preach, which is when life gets busy and overwhelming and you hit the floor in the morning with a bit of a sigh….get busy being creative!!
I painted two cathartic pieces. One is “Bye Bye Summer.” I’m always a little sad to see it go.
And the other is “Hello Fall,” because I’m equally delighted to see the trees begin their autumn show. Hummingbirds and butterflies are filling up with nectar for their migration.
Art Prescription: Sit quietly and watch the silent downward twirl of a few leaves here and there. Sketch, paint, admire.
