Since I was off from my nursing job this week, I got to take a Chinese Brush Painting class at the NC Botanical Garden with Alice. What a treat! The subjects were cats and morning glories.

As you know I highly prescribe doing art that brings joy into your life. And Chinese Brush Painting always centers me with just my brush, the ink, and the paper…in this case just practice paper…

Each night when I go to bed some furry being joins me. I love to sketch them as I’m writing in my journal about my day.
