To give thanks for all.
Art Prescription: My Open Studio weekend is over. Was fun and successful. I’m very thankful. Now I hope to down-shift a bit and enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with family (I might sneak out to the farm to see Finn everyday).

Art Prescription: There are many things to divide us in life…religion, politics, egos… Let’s put all of that aside and realize that we are each just human beings under this camouflage. And we each have a gift to give this world we live in. Right here. Right now. Each and every day. Your gift.

Art Prescription: On the way home from the farm I always see deer grazing in the corn fields. My Open Studio is this weekend, so index cards are my go to art for now.

Rural hitchhiker
Relies on stranger goodness
For a ride to church.
Art Prescription: On the way home from feeding the horses, I came across a gentleman hitchhiking on highway 54. He was nicely dressed in a suit and my thought was that he was looking for a ride to church. Reminds me that despite of the news, there is complete and total goodness in people. If you pay more attention to the daily rituals of love and kindness that is the human species it will help you immensely.

Karma, a real thing.
Art Prescription: Do you take on other people’s anger, hostility, depression? Can you choose to do it differently? Can you go home as YOU? Chances are when you are dealing with angry people, it has nothing to do with you at all. It’s all about them and what they have to go home with, which is themselves. So, breathe, and walk away and go do something you love. Bring yourself back to the reality that you go home with you!
