Delicious spicy food
Drunken noodles, yum!!
Art Prescription: We don’t eat out much because I love to cook, but tonight we went with friends to a restaurant called “Twisted Noodle.” My dish was perfect! Spicy food calls for a good beer or wine!
Below the surface
Spring networks, organizes
New cotyledons!
Art Prescriptions: A cotyledon is the first leaves of a seedling…first up for many spring wildflowers. While working on a multi-layered painting, I did a pen and ink doodle and colored it in.
Playground in my mind
Wishes, dreams swing to and fro
Sleep on satin sheets.
Art Prescription: Launching dreams requires adequate rest!!
On the forest ridge
In a mass of winter browns
Yellow daffodils!
Art Prescription: Walking in the woods this time of year, the changes happen in days. Seemed these daffodils appeared like magic!
Rewards at daybreak
Pink clouds and blue birds, light sky
Perfect stillness, awe!
Art Prescription: Just…well…the sky.
Too soon for roses
I imagine them, petals
Velvet glow of red!!
Art Prescription: Playing with some water-mixable oil paints. Roses…alas…maybe why February is the yearning of the heart month.
Beneath the frozen
Lies bulbs preparing for their
Surprise spring debut!
Art Prescription: I remembered today that I planted a bed of tulip bulbs last fall! Anticipation!
All jobs are not work
For example pet sitting
Paid in licks and love!!
Art Prescription: As a cat owner, 3!! I enjoy walking dogs! So I’m caring for two adorable, feisty, small dogs while their parents are in Ruperto Rico. I’m flattered to earn their trust so quickly!
Throw away your clock
Let the sun and the moon keep
Time for you daily.
Art Prescription: Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every day we rose with the sun…no alarm clocks.
Salt bath, steam rises
Eucalyptus, lavender,
Tea tree oil and wine!!
Art Prescription: Cure all! Try it!!
