Suddenly it’s spring
A shift in the wind, a tease
Winter is not done.
Art Prescription: Very spring-like day here in North Carolina. I have a feeling that winter has another round of frigid. Right now…I turned my AC on…in February?

Art Prescription: Never underestimate the power of giving of your time, your energy, your ear, your heart…someone out there needs you.

Art Prescription: Each tree lets go of their leaves in their own time. And so even though the universe says, “there is enough for everyone,” they hold onto each leaf until they are ready.

Among early buds.
Art Prescription: If they choose to nest here, soon their home will be snuggled among abundant yellow Lady Banks Roses.

A glow of white caught my eye
Magic visitor.
Art Prescription: I did pull off the side of the road. I walked quietly across last years corn crops, but they saw me. This white girl…bounced like a white ping pong ball into the woods…leaving a trail of magic.

Birds sing final song
Cold night fog blankets the field
Light fades to deep blue.
Art Prescription: So there we were at Mason Farm all bundled. Then at dusk, as promised, these birds start to make some noise. Their dating dance. A couple of ” peents.” Then they take off into the air and make a symphony of sound coming down.
Somewhere in quiet
All things move forward with plan
To produce beauty.
Art Prescription: This is a recycled painting. Put it into the recycle bin, literally…and then kept seeing it as I walked past. Cut it up and used it for this index card art.
