Zooms up into trees, brief rest
Then back for more sweets.
Art Prescription: On my walk watching hummingbirds dive lantana. As I approached they flew up into the trees. This is another miniature art pieces. Watercolor artist trading card.
Place where time stands still
Gentle wind rolls across field
Horses graze on grass.
Art Prescription: Took my sketchbook and big old sun hat out to Blue Skies today. Took a chair and sat in the paddock, being part of the herd. So hot. They were fine to just let me be there. We know you and you are okay to hang-out with us. They stood lazy, swishing their tails against the flies, sun on their strong backs.

Art Prescription: So I did a little gardening today…actually a lot of gardening. Seems I’ve let my weeds get a bit out of control. Natures gentle lesson to remind me to tend my thoughts. Pen and ink, watercolor pencil on watercolor paper.

Art Prescription: We went to the J C Raulston Arboretum today in Raleigh. Pretty place. Lots of different styled gardens. Need to go back with sketchbook. Watercolor pencil on a strip of watercolor paper.
