The hay huts are full
The herd gathers around now
To stay warm for night.

The hay huts are full
The herd gathers around now
To stay warm for night.

The flurry of leaves
Swirl to ground soon to be snow
Birds at my window.

Boil sweet potatoes
Add butter, sugar, and eggs
Vanilla and spice.
First attempt at this pie! Yum it was tasty!!

Meal at Curry House
No cooking, no dishes, void
Of being at home.
We went out to eat today for curry, my brother’s choice. There were all the benefits to eating out, but I really missed the homey feeling of preparing a special meal.
Now it’s cuddle time to read! The best part of the day.

November roses
Heed a sign of imbalance
A too warm autumn

Early morning light
Horses return to the barn
Buckets of fresh grain.

Then we carry on
Horses, dogs, cats need feeding
Life is close to home.
No matter which side you are on when it comes down to it what matters is in an arms reach. Our loved ones, friends and family.

Forever wish peace
Each molecule a human
See me as I am

Saddle up cowgirl
Hit the trail with wonder, awe
My steed carries me.

Sign on door says “closed”
Pool chairs held wet suits, laughter
Now gather fall leaves.
