Put it on paper.
Dreams, aspirations, fears, hopes.
Now color it in!!
Art Prescription: I had the most delightful group today in my Art Prescription Workshop!! Focus today was on “what do we want more of in our lives?”
Buzzy things with wings
Fill the air showing off their
Aerodynamics!
Art Prescription: As the weather warms there’s a lot more action in the air. Birds, bees, butterflies, and dragonflies! Here in North Carolina we have several different species of dragonflies…it’s fun to try and identify them. And oh yea, there’s the damselfly too!
Go where the love is.
Wake up, jump out of bed with
A joie de vivre!
Art Prescription: Are you living your life to it’s fullest? Do you stop and smell the roses, or are you rushing about getting from point A to point B without enthusiasm? Can you add some small subtle details to enhance your daily life? Just 5 minutes of noticing something beautiful, something that moves your spirit…
Inch-worm ornaments
Hang by silk thread from spring trees
Geometer moths.
Art Prescription: These little worms are hitch-hikers. Next thing you know you have an inch worm on your shoulder. Carefully remove them and place them on a nearby leaf. They are on a journey to become Geometer Moths. A huge family of moths, around 35,000 species, and their colors vary from flat greys to vibrant pinks.
Hope is the thing with
Feathers. Did Emily know
How we would need this?
Art Prescription: I’m working through my grief and helplessness over the recent tragedies. Though I try to be positive here on the Art Prescription, I also want to be genuine. My work today is an expression of this…be well…My chop, hand-made in China, says “Hope.”
