Small yellow petals

Quite simply where will
Lonely dreaming take you now?
No need for a map.
Art Prescription: I recently heard a talk about boredom. Because we are all so plugged in constantly, we allow no time for loneliness or boredom. And boredom may be where great ideas come from!! The mind, quiet from distraction, listens to the creator within. Voila! A dream is born…
Index card art…
Direction of dreams
Success in common hours
A life imagined.
Art Prescription: 2014 is rolling out…2015 is rolling in. What successes in unexpected common hours do you desire? What endeavors and dreams do you have?
I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of dreams, and endeavors to live the life imagined, she/he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

A deep thick grey fog
Settles across open field
A flock of geese graze.
Art Prescription: There is something soothing about fog. The way it just lazily lingers…making everything a bit out of focus. To stand in tree pose in yoga I find a soft gaze most beneficial. When I try too hard…my balance gets all out of whack. Perhaps we don’t always need to see so clearly!! A little bit softer now…
