Most days life teaches us a lesson. Today I learned to find a moment of peace and laughter every day. It seems the power of a positive attitude prevails over just about anything.
Norman Cousins was the editor of Saturday Review for over 30 years, and was the author of a number of books including ‘Anatomy of an illness.’ Diagnosed with illness, he began his own research into what heals the body. In 1989 he wrote about the power of laughter. The same year his book came out the Journal of the American Medical Association acknowledged that laughter therapy could improve the immune system, and impact the quality of life for patients and their families. So, go ahead…laugh about it!!

Thanks for reminder about Norman Cousins, a man ahead of his time. Love your cat illustration. Amazing how a few well-placed strokes make such a beautiful painting. You are so talented!
