Please don’t take offense but this is one of those extremely rare times when the picture doesn’t do justice to the words. Lovely haiku!

Thank you for your honest feedback. I agree! Some of my readers have asked me about disappointments, and this is a good example. I definitely didn’t feel the painting. Might have been a good one to let the haiku stand alone.

I agree with long4h2o! Each time we sit down to create does not always turn out. I think the painting alone speaks to my mind right now, a bit jumbled up with the new year.
