Art Prescription: MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!

As I prepped for our Christmas Dinner, I washed my china which was my grandmother’s, Annie Callis Jones.

My brother and I talked about how both our grandparents grew and canned their own vegetables. Holiday meals were prepared for months in advance. Weeks of gathering and “putting up” the harvest. Weeks of baking from scratch real layered cakes with freshly grated coconut.

We had no idea!!

To go back to just one meal…the ghost of Christmas past.

We will cook with our hearts tomorrow.

I hope you and your family are enjoying this joyful season, and creating memories to last a lifetime!

Cheers,

Bev
