So, this 36 x 36 painting has gone through many renditions.
I started with an abstract feel:
But this was cropped and the whole painting was not a good composition.
Then I added two horses:
And still there was something missing.
I’ve added a big sky, went into the painting with my fingers. Will see with fresh morning eyes whether this works!

Thanks Susan, I was close to doing a “paint over.” I think I kind-of like this. Different from my watercolors.

Oh Sharon I appreciate that! I’ll sit with it for a while and see. Or maybe list it in my Etsy shop and see if it gains any attention.
The process is always an interesting journey.
Especially when painting out of one’s mind. If you have a reference photo it helps. It’s fun to see if I can retrieve my mind’s eye view.
