Delicate fall blooms

Bright, cheery on my back deck

Nuthatches are back!

Art Prescription:  Sam planted some fall blooming plants. One of them is a delicate, orchid looking bloom. I have no idea the name, but the color and delicate shape intrigues me. Nuthatches are supposedly in decline, so happy to see them return to my sunflower seed.

Index card with colored pencil and pen and ink, my chop says “hope”

    • I think White-breasted. I heard at the beginning of the summer that because people have done such a good job bringing back the blue-bird, the Nuthatches were in decline. Then I noticed I wasn’t seeing them as much. Perhaps the’ve had a good breeding season!!
