Some of us were brought up to appreciate what we’ve been given and not demand more from our parents who were struggling to provide we had. Just guessing.
So true, and then we learn to be intimidated in for example business deals, to speak up!
I’m not sure if that’s an indictment against us or against our society. It would nice to be compensated fairly for the work that you do without having to toot your own horn. I should have taking classes in self promotion back in college.
