Finished my textile art piece today!
Really neat since I made it with an upcycled tablecloth where many meals were served. So this piece has memories embedded in the fabric.
I’d love a piece like this with my grandmother’s apron or a piece of a loved ones clothes.
This is framed with a Gallery Frame.
What a joy to work on such a personal piece of art.

Love the idea of memories embedded in a peace of art—just like a quilt.
My grandparents were avid quilters. I have a collection and love looking at them. Maybe I’ll make my way to some larger pieces.
